There are many different ways to advertise online these days.. but I’m going to talk about a very cheap and effective way that not many people know about. It’s through Facebook Ad Manager! I bet you would have never guessed that.. The reason I like it so much is because it allows you to pick the demographics right down to their ages. It’s absolutely awesome.
I’ll give you a quick example. Let’s say your promoting a product like this: Chopper Tattoo
(That’s a product off Clickbank that you can actually become an affiliate to right after you read this and start your own campaign with..)
But as you can see, it’s a product about tattoos and it would be quite tough to advertise if you weren’t able to target people who like tattoos right? Well this is where Facebook advertising comes into place. When you’re setting up your ad in Facebook, there’s a section called “Keywords” and what it does is while you type in words, it shows you if people on Facebook have it on their profiles, which obviously means they enjoy or are interested in that topic. So lets say you type in “tat” you’ll notice words pop up underneath that have “tat” in it. You’ll want to choose all of the ones with “tattoo” because your add will only show on their pages now.. How perfect is that?!
Once you do that it will tell you how many people you’ll be targeting that have those keywords in their profiles. There’s other targeting methods you can use like: Location, Age, Sex, Education, Relationship, and Language. But for this campaign, the only real important one is Keywords.
After you’ve done that, you’ll need to create the ad. When writing your “Title” and “Body Text” you’ll need to make sure it really catches their attention, since that’s the part they will be seeing on their Facebook profiles. Don’t make it sound to much like an ad, something very personal and appealing. Something like this:
Title: Tattoo Designs
Body Text: Looking for your perfect tattoo? View 1,000s of designs now, it’s where I found mine!
There’s also an option to upload in image to the ad. Now this is the most important part because that’s how you are going to attract the people to read the ad! I’ve tested this over and over and with Facebook, the images that look normal, and not professionally taken, convert WAY better. So for this Tattoo ad an image like this wouldn’t work:

The reason that wouldn’t work is because it looks to fake and people can’t relate to tattoos like that.
But this image WILL work:

See how it looks more like something people can actually relate to? It’s important to remember that for any ads you place up on Facebook, not only Tattoo ads.
You have 2 choices price wise for the ads. You can either go by Impression or CPC (cost per click), I suggest you use CPC because with Impressions, you can waste a lot of money. Especially since people on Facebook click refresh a lot, your ad might be shown multiple times to the same person and you’ll have to pay for it. I learned that the hard way.. But I was able to get 15 cent clicks with CPC which made it very profitable.
So what I want you to do right now is go and set up a Facebook campaign and start dominating it.. once you get good at it, you can make A LOT of easy money. And it’s really quick to get up and running.
Go for it!
always great to hear from you!
Awesome news…I can’t wait to get into this. This being Ads that is…
this whole cost per click deal…isn’t there a huge chance of people clicking and not buying ANYTHING
